Welcome to the NIH Commercialization
Assistance Program (NIH-CAP)! The program is in its fifth year. It is designed to
help some of the nation's most promising small companies in the life sciences in
introducing their SBIR-funded technologies into the marketplace. NIH has engaged
the services of Larta Institute (www.larta.org)
to help implement the program. The program is customized to meet the needs of early
stage and seasoned companies in two distinct tracks, Commercialization Training Track
(CTT), and Accelerator Commercialization Track (ACT), respectively.
Each is different in their objectives and outcomes. Details about the NIH-CAP Program
and its two tracks, CTT & ACT, are available in the
Program Description.
